Our Creative Director, Miro, celebrated his birthday this week, and naturally, we chose to do it in one of our favourite cities in the world: Copenhagen.
Yes, we know—we return obsessively whenever the opportunity presents itself. But that’s only because Copenhagen continues to deliver on every front: the energy, the food, the fashion, the coffee… it’s all just right.
Consider this your guide to replicating the trip, should you find yourself there.
STAY HERE
Villa Copenhagen
There are many great hotels in Copenhagen, but this remains one of our favourites. Perfectly located opposite Tivoli Gardens and just a five-minute walk from the Meatpacking District, it strikes the ideal balance between convenience and design. Architecturally, it’s stunning, with beautifully considered rooms. This time, we opted for the Superior King over the Standard. It’s noticeably larger and set on a higher floor, but honestly, the Standard room still holds its own. Do not skip the heated rooftop pool, gym, and sauna. The views alone are worth it.

EAT HERE
Amator
Located in Østerbro, Amator offers intimate, home-style breakfast and brunch dining with a communal feel. It’s warm, unfussy, and always busy—so make a reservation.

Sanders Kitchen
We’ve now dined here twice, a year apart, and can confidently say this is one of our favourite restaurants in Copenhagen. Every dish is executed to perfection, but the Burrata & Fennel Salad and green risotto? Top 10 dishes we’ve had in our lives. London institutions like Claridge’s should take notes—this is how hotel dining should be done.

Wulff & Konstali at Audo House
Come for the aesthetics, stay for the brunch. You can curate your own selection of 5 or 7 dishes, which makes it feel personal and indulgent. Most of it was excellent—standouts include the cold-smoked salmon, overnight oats, and scrambled eggs. Avoid the poppy-seed waffle. It looks beautiful, but it doesn’t deliver.

Bæst Copenhagen
Quite simply, the best pizza we’ve ever had. We ordered the No. 3—mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, Stracciatella, and chimichurri—and it was unreal. Even after a full brunch, we couldn’t stop. The base, the ingredients, the balance—everything was perfect.

Frank Copenhagen
We’re slightly conflicted here. From a London perspective, this is top-tier: great food, strong drinks, and a polished atmosphere. But by Copenhagen standards, it was the weakest meal of the trip—and the most expensive (over £200). Still, it works well as an intimate date-night spot.

Hija de Sanchez, Kødbyen
Some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in Europe. Consistently good, vibrant, and worth returning to every time.

Louise Roe Gallery
For truffle toast, bone broth tea, and one of the best matcha lattes we’ve had—this is the spot. The space itself is exceptional: a seamless blend of art, design, and hospitality. Sit at the bar, take it in, and don’t rush.

BAKERIES
Hart Bageri
A classic. There are now multiple locations across the city, so you’re never far from one. The cardamom croissants are essential; do buy extra to take home.

Rug Bakery
Go for the tiramisu. Stay for the sourdough bun with butter and cheese. Still thinking about it.
COFFEE HERE
La Cabra
Exceptional coffee, excellent pastries, and a shared space with Another Aspect. An easy, elevated stop.

Prolog Coffee
Still our favourite coffee in Copenhagen. Always artisanal, consistent, and excellent.
DRINKS
Ruby Copenhagen
For standout cocktails in a cool, dimly lit setting. Book ahead—it gets busy.

TATA Cocktail Bar
Smaller, more intimate, and perfect for a quieter evening.

SHOP HERE
HAY House
A must if you appreciate design. We picked up a steel Indian pitcher for our studio.

Another Aspect
For curated, sustainable menswear with a real point of view. You’ll want everything.

Louise Roe Archive Shop
Louise Roe is expensive, but for good reason. The archive store makes it slightly more accessible. We left with a wool-and-cashmere cushion, but next time we’re going in properly.

Audo House
A masterclass in minimalism, curation, and quiet luxury. We originally discovered the brand through a wine rack we bought for our studio, but visiting the space in person is something else entirely.
Also discovered RAAW Alchemy here—highly recommend their hand and body products.
