Her Travel, With Camila Rosa (Pinky Cami)

Her Travel, With Camila Rosa (Pinky Cami)

Camila Rosa — Pinky Cami— moves through London with the kind of chic ease you can’t manufacture.

We first met her on the set of AJOSEPO’s Summer 2025 campaign, where she brought something less tangible than beauty and far more interesting: presence. Warm, quick-witted, instinctively stylish, and impossible to categorise, she has that rare ability to feel both immediately familiar and slightly unknowable at the same time.

Her travel reflects that duality. International in scope, but emotionally anchored between two places that define her — São Tomé, where her roots lie, and London, the city she has chosen as home. What emerges isn’t a highlight reel of destinations, but a map of attachments: where she returns to, what she carries with her, and how places shape identity.

Think of this less as a travel guide and more as a personal geography.

Best city or country you’ve ever travelled to and why?
Corfu, Greece. It’s honestly one of the most magical places I’ve ever been to. The water is unreal, the sunsets feel cinematic, and the energy is peaceful but still fun. It’s the kind of place where you feel soft, feminine and free at the same time.

Worst city or country you’ve visited, and why didn’t it work for you?
Marseille. It just didn’t align with me. I didn’t feel very safe in certain areas and the energy felt a bit tense. Sometimes a place just doesn’t match your spirit, and that’s okay.

Where in the world did you feel the freest?
São Tomé. My home country will always make me feel the freest. There’s something about being where your roots are, surrounded by nature, ocean, and familiarity. I feel grounded and limitless there.

Best party city or country you’ve experienced?
London. You can literally find any type of party here: Afro beats, house, R&B, exclusive Mayfair vibes, warehouse raves, rooftop summer parties. Whatever mood you’re in, London has it. The diversity in nightlife is unmatched.

City or country with the best food overall?
Lisbon, although I think it’s slightly overrated. The seafood is beautiful and traditional food is comforting. Greek food is also incredible fresh, simple, flavourful, and made with so much love.

City or country with the best market/street food?
London, especially Camden Market. The variety is insane. You can try food from all over the world in one place.

A city or country that surprised you the most?
Madrid. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. The energy, the people, the lifestyle it really surprised me in the best way.

The most beautiful place you’ve ever seen.
Greece in general is breathtaking, but Gorges du Verdon in France is also unbelievably beautiful. The water colour looks almost unreal.

The most overrated destination you’ve been to.
I don’t think I’ve been anywhere completely overrated yet because I try to find something beautiful in every place I go.

The most underrated destination you’ve visited.
I’m still deciding on this one, but sometimes smaller, quieter places end up being the most special.

Which city or country has the friendliest people?
Greece. Our car broke down once and a taxi driver stopped to help us. Another time, my friends and I were walking and someone literally picked us up and drove us five minutes to the beach just to help. That kindness stays with you.

Which city or country has the unfriendliest people?
France. I just personally felt the energy was colder in comparison to other places I’ve visited.

Which city or country felt the safest for you?
Dubai. I felt very secure there, even walking around at night.

A destination that pushed you out of your comfort zone in a good way.
Miami. It pushed me socially and personally. The energy is bold and expressive.

Where did you experience the strongest sense of culture or identity?
Honestly, São Tomé. Being back home always reconnects me to who I am at my core.

A city or country with the chicest and most stylish people?
France. Effortless, classic, timeless style.

Which trip taught you something about yourself?
Going back to my home country. It reminded me of my roots, my resilience, and how much I’ve grown.

A hotel or Airbnb that felt genuinely special?
I’ve stayed in places that felt very safe and comfortable, which is always the most important thing for me when travelling.

What’s the next city or country at the top of your list, and what’s pulling you there?
My home country. I want to see my grandad. That’s more important than anywhere else right now
