Our latest edition features one of our favourite people to work with: Millie Charles-Davies.
We were first introduced to Millie ahead of London Fashion Week, when she was selected to wear AJOSEPO to shows and events. Although we hadn't yet met, it didn't take long for her to stand out. It wasn't just the content she created that caught our attention, but the care behind it. Every image and video felt considered, every detail intentional, and it quickly became clear that she understood the difference between wearing jewellery and styling it.
By the time we met months later, our first impression had been entirely confirmed.
When it came to shooting our Notting Hill Summer campaign, there was never really another choice. As a luxury content creator, creative consultant and social media manager, Millie brings a rare perspective. She understands what happens both in front of and behind the camera, making her the sort of collaborator who elevates everyone around her. She instinctively understood the brief, seamlessly became part of the team, and delivered far beyond our expectations.
Outside of our work together, we find ourselves returning to Millie's fashion, travel and lifestyle content time and again. Her eye is refined, her style feels genuinely personal, and in a landscape increasingly shaped by imitation, that sense of individuality is refreshing.
So, when it came to choosing the next guest for Her Travel , the decision was easy. We hope you enjoy getting to know Millie as much as we have.

Best city or country you’ve ever travelled to and why?
The Caribbean will always have a special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to visit a few islands as a child with my family, and recently went to the Bahamas with friends. Every time I arrive, it feels like I've stepped into another world. Life moves at a slower pace, the beaches are breathtaking, the sea never looks real, and the food is incredibly fresh. It's one of the few places where I completely switch off, and I never want to come home.
Least favourite city or country you’ve visited, and why didn’t it work for you?
Berlin. I can completely appreciate why people love it, especially for its history, art and nightlife, but I just never really connected with it.
Where in the world did you feel the freest?
Honestly, back home in Wales. My family are from a small town near the coast, and I always feel my most grounded there. Long walks along the beach, hiking through the countryside and spending time with family remind me to slow down. There's something about being surrounded by nature that instantly makes life feel a little simpler.
Best party city or country you’ve experienced?
I know it's probably the obvious answer, but I'd have to say Mykonos. Yes, the parties are incredible, but what surprised me most was how beautiful the island is. Wandering through the whitewashed streets, watching the sunsets and spending days at Agios Sostis Beach made me love it for far more than the nightlife. I also think Mykonos gets unfairly labelled as somewhere you have to spend a fortune. Some of my favourite meals were at small local restaurants rather than the big-name restaurants. If you're looking for a party though, Scorpios, Moni and Soho Roc House all live up to the hype.
City or country with the best food overall?
Mexico. Everything just tastes so fresh, vibrant and full of flavour. Tacos are my favourite! Jamaica would be a very close second.
City or country that surprised you the most?
Cape Verde. I booked it on a bit of a whim after seeing pictures of the beaches, but I knew very little about it beforehand. It completely exceeded my expectations. The coastline is stunning, the people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and it still feels like somewhere that's flying under the radar.
Most beautiful place you’ve ever seen.
Tuscany. I recently attended one of my best friend's weddings there, and it honestly felt like stepping into a film. We stayed on a historic wine estate nestled in the hills and every view looked like a painting. Italy is beautiful in general, but Tuscany really is something special.
Most underrated destination you’ve visited.
Antibes. I visited while staying in Cannes and really loved it. I highly recommend it if you're looking for somewhere more lowkey and less touristy than Cannes and Monaco. The markets, beaches and restaurants are beautiful, it has everything without feeling overly crowded. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
City or country with the friendliest people?
Wales. I'm probably a little biased because it's home, but Welsh people really are some of the warmest you'll meet. There's a genuine sense of community that you don't always find in bigger cities, and people always seem happy to stop for a chat.
City or country with the unfriendliest people?
I absolutely love living in London and it's my favourite city in the world, but I think the pace of life naturally makes people seem less approachable. Everyone is rushing somewhere, so conversations with strangers don't happen quite as often as they do elsewhere.
City or country that felt safest to you?
The Cotswolds. There's something incredibly peaceful about it. The villages are beautiful, everyone seems genuinely friendly, and it's one of those places where you instantly feel relaxed the moment you arrive.
Where did you experience the strongest sense of culture or identity?>
Los Angeles. It might sound surprising, but I loved how each neighbourhood has its own personality. From Venice to Silver Lake to Beverly Hills, every area feels completely different, and there's this really inspiring blend of creativity, health, fashion and entrepreneurship that I loved.
City or country with the chicest and most stylish people?
Copenhagen. I've been obsessed with Scandinavian style since I was a young girl. I remember buying Pernille Teisbaek's styling book back in 2017, and I still take inspiration from her to this day. I love how effortlessly put together everyone looks without appearing like they've tried too hard. That same understated aesthetic carries through to their interiors, cafés and overall way of living too.
Which trip taught you something about yourself?
I went on my first solo trip this summer and it was to Cannes. It was the first holiday where I didn't take my laptop, so for once I had nowhere to be and nothing demanding my attention. I went for brunch, dinner, walks and beach days completely on my own, and it was surprisingly liberating. I'd recommend everyone takes a solo trip at least once.
A hotel or Airbnb that felt genuinely special?
Sax Paris. Goodness, I loved this hotel. You can see the Eiffel Tower from just outside, which makes it feel even more special. The aesthetic of the hotel is effortlessly cool and fashion-forward, and the interiors of the rooms are second to none. They also have multiple restaurants throughout the hotel to try, making it feel like a destination in itself. It's a really special place.
The next city or country at the top of your list, and what's pulling you there?
Australia. I'm finally heading there this December and I genuinely can't wait. Perth has been at the top of my list for years, and the thought of having my first ever sunny Christmas feels surreal.
