We had her sign off on 2025 with us through a brief Q&A. Check out our interview below.

Could you share a little about yourself?
I am a Legal Director based in London having moved from South Africa just over 10 years ago. I started my career as a corporate lawyer and then transitioned into a commercial in-house counsel role when I moved to London. I’m also a co-founder of the Lawyers' Dining Club which seeks to bring together a unique community of lawyers who are looking to connect in a more meaningful way. I also share my thoughts on career progression and how to level up professionally on substack and instagram, the latter of which I affectionately describe as being the creative adjunct to my legal career. I live with my husband and very boisterous son who’s certainly made our lives more fun and interesting.
What has been the standout highlight of 2025 for you?
We decided to take just over a month off earlier this year to spend in Cape Town (my home) as a family. This was the last time we'd be able to spend this much time in South Africa over their summer months as our son started school this year. It was the exact reset we all needed and it was so special spending so much time together.
Looking ahead, what are you most excited about in 2026?
Undoubtedly to finally complete our house renovation!
Do you set New Year’s resolutions—and if so, what are your top two, and how do you intend to hold yourself accountable to them?
I don't set new year's resolutions as such, rather I take stock in November of each year and reflect back on what I've achieved, what's gone well, what's not gone so well, decide what I need to pull through into the next year and also be honest about what is no longer serving me. I will then (re)set goals for the following 12 months across three pillars: personal (family and fitness), financial and career.
ONE-WORD…
That defines you. Aspiring.
Your closest friend would use to describe you. Loyal
That motivates you every morning. Drive
That makes you feel unstoppable. Love
That shaped your journey. Compassion
You’d love to hear more. No
You want to be known for. Real
You’d tattoo (if you had to). Content
That feels like a red flag. Maybe
To leave us with. Dream
