What do you do, and what do you love most about it?
I recently stepped into the role of COO at a Swedish biotech company. The COO role is essentially about fixing, building, and turning chaos into structure, it’s about making things happen. Right now, I love the expansiveness of it. It’s a chance to create order from ambiguity, drive profitability, and innovate along the way. But what truly keeps me energized is the mission - improving cancer care for patients. That kind of impact makes the challenges worth it.

What inspired you to pursue this career?
My career has been anything but linear, I’ve worked across investment banking, sustainability, launched my own female health startup, and now, I’m in biotech. But at the core of every step has been the same driving force: creating meaningful impact. That’s always been my north star.

What’s been the most defining moment of your career?
Taking the leap from investment banking into entrepreneurship. It was a shift from structure to uncertainty, but it gave me the freedom to experiment, challenge myself, and ultimately, redefine what success looks like for me.

How do you mentor and uplift other women?
I’m deeply passionate about supporting women and do so in every way I can, whether that’s opening up my network, sharing lessons from my own journey, or simply leading by example. I’ve always been open about my career path, the wins and the failures, because if sharing my story encourages even one woman to take a bold step forward and be audacious, then it’s worth it.

How do you approach confidence and self-expression in your work?
Confidence is something you build over time, but self-expression? That’s always been non-negotiable for me. Fashion is one of my favorite ways to inject personality into the workplace. As my career has evolved from corporate to entrepreneurship, my style has evolved with it, I’ve learned to embrace pushing boundaries, and I love that.

Who is the woman that has inspired you the most, and why?
My mum. She is the ultimate powerhouse, brilliant, stylish, and effortlessly impactful. She’s a trailblazer in her field, yet she carries it all with grace and humility. She’s been my greatest mentor, always challenging and encouraging me through every transition.

What does female empowerment mean to you?
Being unapologetically yourself, without hesitation, without shame.

What’s your favourite or most worn AJOSEPO piece, and why?
The Rekoya gold ring: it’s the perfect balance of ultimate chicness and edge, which is exactly how I’d describe my style.
