Marygrace Tropeano

Entrepreneur and Model

She is a dynamic force, seamlessly balancing the worlds of business and fashion. As an entrepreneur and model, she moves with confidence, creativity, and a bold sense of purpose. Whether building her brand or stepping in front of the camera, she embodies ambition and self-expression, proving that success is defined on your terms.

You are successfully navigating both entrepreneurship and modelling. How do these two worlds complement each other in your journey?
Entrepreneurship and modeling may seem like two different worlds, but they actually go hand in hand. Modeling has taught me how to present a brand, understand visual storytelling, and navigate high-pressure environments—skills that are invaluable in business. On the other hand, entrepreneurship has given me the ability to take control of my personal brand, make strategic decisions, and build something long-lasting beyond just being in front of the camera. Both require resilience, creativity, and the ability to market yourself effectively

What inspired you to step into entrepreneurship, and what’s the most rewarding part of running your own business?
I’ve always been drawn to the world of marketing, and even more after developing my own brand. Stepping into entrepreneurship felt like the natural next step after gaining experience in the fashion and content creation world. The most rewarding part is seeing an idea come to life—whether it’s a campaign, a product, or a brand collaboration—and knowing that it’s something I built with intention. There’s a deep satisfaction in knowing that my work is creating impact and inspiring others.

Both fashion and business require resilience and adaptability. What’s one challenge you’ve faced, and how did you overcome it?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is navigating different personalities and working relationships in both industries. In fashion and business, you meet a wide range of people—some incredibly supportive, others more difficult to work with. Learning how to manage expectations, communicate effectively, and set boundaries has been crucial. Instead of taking things personally, I focus on professionalism and emotional intelligence. I’ve learned that not every relationship will be a perfect fit, and that’s okay. The key is to surround yourself with people who align with your vision and values while staying adaptable in different environments.

What is your personal approach to style, and how do you utilise jewellery to express yourself?
My approach to style is effortless luxury—I love pieces that feel refined yet wearable, elegant yet bold. Fashion is a form of self-expression, and jewellery plays a key role in elevating my look. Whether it’s a statement ring, layered necklaces, or classic gold hoops, jewellery allows me to add personality and depth to any outfit. I love mixing modern and vintage pieces to create a look that feels uniquely mine.

Who is the woman that has inspired you the most, and why?
There are so many women who inspire me, but if I had to choose one, it would be my higher self (aka myself in 10 years). She embodies strength, grace, and an unapologetic approach to success. Imagining how she would navigate challenges while staying true to herself has been a huge source of motivation for me.

If you could give one piece of advice to women looking to build something of their own—whether a business or a personal brand—what would it be?
Trust yourself and start before you feel ready. There’s no perfect moment to launch a business or put yourself out there. The key is to take action, even if it’s small steps at first. Don’t be afraid to evolve, make mistakes, and learn along the way. Confidence comes from doing, and success is built through consistency.

What does female empowerment mean to you?
Female empowerment is about having the freedom and confidence to create the life you want on your own terms. It’s about lifting other women up, celebrating their wins, and knowing that success isn’t a competition but a collective movement. True empowerment comes from owning your voice, taking up space, and encouraging others to do the same.

What’s your favourite or most worn AJOSEPO piece, and why?
The golden ring I modelled for AJOSEPO is my absolute favorite. It’s a beautifully designed three-piece ring banded together, and I love how it symbolises timeless elegance. It’s the perfect blend of bold and classic, making it easy to wear with any outfit. Whether I’m dressing up or keeping it casual, it always adds that extra touch of sophistication. Plus, having modeled for it makes it even more special—it feels like a piece of my journey with the brand!
