We deliberately held back our August playlist because today felt like the right day to share it.
With a solar eclipse happening today, this month’s soundtrack naturally found itself somewhere between darkness and light. Songs about changes, long roads, and the passing of time. Perhaps that is what we love most about August. We’re still in the thick of summer (thank heavens!), but there’s a quiet sense of change in the air. The days are still long, the evenings still deliciously warm, but you can feel the season beginning to turn.
And the music reflects that. A little darker, a little slower and wonderfully nostalgic.
